About

Hi, My name is Elissa. I am a freelance artist and illustrator in Western Washington State. As far back as I can remember, I have loved to draw and color. Growing up, I enjoyed coloring in coloring books, making paper dolls, and sometimes drawing on my school papers. As I got older, I began to work on improving my art. For several years I entered art in the Kitsap County fair. I also enjoyed drawing airplanes, animals, and portraits of my friends.

I worked mostly in black and white until I was hired to illustrate Hee Haw's Best Day, a children's book written by Mary Elizabeth Edgren. It was then that I started to work seriously with colored pencils. Hee Haw's Best Day was self published by the author in March 2013. I have also worked on doing portraits and art for several publications.

If you have any questions about my work, please feel free to contact me!
